Our Assistant to the Director of Missions attended Texas Tech University and Draughn Business College majoring in Business Administration.  Bro Elijah has been in the ministry for 20 years as the Pastor of New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Lubbock.  Prior to be called as Pastor, Bro Elijah was in the Gospel Ministry work as a deacon in New Jersualem Baptist Church for 15 years.

Gayla Austin has been Bro Elijah's bride for 2 1/2 years and is working closely with him in the ministry God has called them to do.  Bro Elijah works closely with the African American churches and all other Associational churches as needed to do God's Kingdom work.
