D.O.M. Administrative Assistant
Our Administrative Assistant to the D.O.M. grew up in the Lubbock area and graduated from Monterey High School. She was a secretary and bookkeeper until her two daughters were born. She had the great luxury of being able to stay home to raise them. She was very involved in P.T.A. while the girls were in school. She served as P.T.A. President at Nat Williams Elementary, Vice-President at Smylie Wilson Jr. High and Lubbock High School. She also served as Vice-President for the Lubbock Independent School District P.T.A. She started working in the church after her oldest daughter started kindergarten. She was the secretary of her church for ten years before coming to the association as receptionist on February 6, 1996. Candy feels that her work here is truly a ministry. She loves people and loves to serve. She and her family are members of Bacon Heights Baptist Church. Her husband Lonny was a bi-vocation music director for seven years before feeling God’s call to be an evangelist by preaching and singing God’s word. He is a master plumber and owns Lonny Carroll Plumbing, Heating and Air. They have been married for 36 years and have two beautiful daughters, Cassy and Caity, two wonderful sons who are married to her daughters; Kenneth Schronk and Jon Jones. Kenneth and Cassy have two children; Kolten 4 and Caylee 2. Cassy has been married to Kenneth Schronk for nine years and is a Registered Nurse. Kenneth is a Anistheisiologist at Covenant Medical Systems. Caity recently married Jon Jones and works for Convergy's. Jon graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He currently works at Embassy Suites.
